Important information
December 2023
We would like to inform you that we unfortunately have experienced a data breach where criminals have managed to gain access to parts of our systems. We have now obtained a comprehensive understanding of the incident and will provide you with information regarding the implications.
The matter has naturally received our utmost attention, and we have responded quickly and decisively to halt the attack. We have also strengthened security to an even higher level. To assist us, we have had a task force consisting of cybercrime specialists on the case, and we have reported the matter to both the Data Protection Agency and the Police.
We cannot with 100% certainty ascertain that the criminals have not gained access to the personal information of our customers, guests, and business partners, such as names, company names, email addresses, phone numbers, as well as information about stays at the hotel including past and future arrival and departure dates and the number of bookings.
The potential use of ordinary personal information is limited. As always, one should be attentive regarding unusual emails in their inbox, avoid clicking on links from unknown senders, and maintain secure practices while online. The same applies to phone calls, where one should always refrain from disclosing passwords, Mit ID, etc. to anyone, even if they claim to be from the Police, the bank, etc. Additionally, one should be aware of any suspicious use of their email address in combination with information about any stays at the hotel.
We deeply apologize for the situation, particularly if you have been inconvenienced by the data breach. We fully recognize the concerns this may raise and empathize with any impact it has caused.
