Spring in the city
Spring in Copenhagen is filled with life, a budding, energetic atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to experience the city in a new and almost magical way.
One of our favorite ways to experience spring in Copenhagen is by taking a walk in one of the city’s many parks. We love the garden in Tivoli, which is filled with thousands of colorful flowers and plants. But the other large parks are also always worth exploring. Visit, for example, Kongens Have, Ørstedsparken near the hotel, and Frederiksberg Have.
If you’re in the mood for a bike ride, you can take a trip along the city’s many bike paths to experience the cozy transport routes through the parks. You can ride past the colorful houses in Nyhavn, around the lakes, and visit the many open squares by the harbor or canals, where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream. If you would like to rent one or more bicycles, it can easily be done during booking or by contacting one of the hosts in the lobby.
The spring weather can be changeable, so it may be a good idea to plan a day to visit the city’s museums and galleries. Most of them have new, exciting exhibitions and events in the spring for families during the small holidays. The National Museum, the National Gallery of Denmark, and the Black Diamond library are some of the most popular destinations for culture enthusiasts.
Copenhagen’s popular attractions
We can take care of your accommodation and breakfast in Copenhagen, but if you want to experience the city’s attractions and atmospheric streets, you will have to find the good deals yourself.
We recommend buying a Copenhagen Card, which provides free admission to almost all attractions in the metropolitan area and free public transport. There are plenty of good family experiences and experiences for couples to choose from, and the website, in addition to offering discounts on admission, also provides a good overview of the attractions in the city. You can buy the card in the lobby or online here. It is also possible to download an app, which can be displayed as a ticket.
Restaurants near the hotel:
After a long day of experiences, it’s nice to have to have a nice sit-down dinner. We have three restaurants associated with our hotels, which offer dishes for both children and adults. The Italian restaurant La Rocca (with a children’s play area), the tapas restaurant Pintxos and the sushi restaurant Sticks’n’Sushi. Read more about the food on and near the hotel here.
You can reserve a table directly on their websites or ask for help to make a reservation in the lobby where our friendly staff will help you book a table. Please keep in mind, that we cannot guarantee a reservation on your preferred date, so please order well in advance.
