Fall in Copenhagen: A truly magical experience

It is the fall season in Copenhagen, and the atmosphere is a bit magical. The beautiful colors act as an invite to indoor coziness, and the city’s cultural institutions have a multitude of activities on their programs. We especially love visiting Tivoli when the garden is adorned with scary decorations and fun features. The city is full of seasonal exhibitions and activities for both children and adults during the fall months. The National Museum, the National Gallery, and the Black Diamond are some of the most visited places for culture enthusiasts. In 2023, Copenhagen has been chosen as UNESCO’s World Capital of Architecture, so architecture enthusiasts will find many events as well. Read more about it on the Copenhagen Municipality’s website.

If you’re in the mood for a bike ride, you can take a tour along the city’s many bike paths to experience the cozy transportation routes through the parks. You can bike past the colorful houses in Nyhavn, around the lakes, and visit the many open squares by the harbor or canals, where you can sit and enjoy a warming cup of coffee. If you’d like to rent one or more bikes, it can easily be arranged when booking or by contacting one of the hosts in the lobby during your stay.
