New Year’s Eve in Copenhagen

Are you heading to Copenhagen to celebrate the last night of the year? Let Hotel Kong Arthur be the setting for your countdown into the new year.

The hotel is located right by Queen Louise’s Bridge, where you can watch the fireworks light up over the lakes, and once your dancing shoes finally need a break, it is just a short walk back to the hotel. Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the city

Enjoy a New Year’s Eve dinner at one of the restaurants nearby. We recommend the Italian restaurant La Rocca or the Spanish restaurant Pintxos, both of which stays open on New Year’s Eve and offers special menus, but be sure to book ahead, as New Year’s Eve is one of the busiest nights of the year at restaurants across the city.

As midnight approaches, head down to Queen Louise’s Bridge, and watch the city welcome the new year with fireworks over the lakes, just a short walk from the hotel.

Please be aware that everyone is allowed to use fireworks, so they will be shooting off in the streets. We recommend using safety glasses to stay safe.

A slow morning and Champagne brunch

On January 1st, breakfast is served between 7.00-11.00 am.

Add the New Nordic breakfast buffet to your stay, so you can sleep in and wake up to a Champagne brunch that gives you the best possible start to the new year. We serve a complimentary glass of Champagne to all guests aged 18 and over who have breakfast included in their stay.
